Z Code: Unlocking Opportunities in Tech & Digital Literacy

Empowering Communities Through Code

Z Code is more than a coding program—it’s a gateway to innovation, career advancement, and community impact. Through our partnership with GA Tech’s Earsketch and Girls Who Code, we provide hands-on learning experiences that inspire youth, empower adults, and uplift seniors through technology education.

Our Legacy & Growth

Since 2017, Z Code has been at the forefront of technology education. Our first in-school program at Stone Mountain Middle School introduced 7th and 8th-grade students to coding, web development, and digital safety. We also trained STEM teachers on integrating free coding resources into their classrooms, ensuring long-term accessibility and impact. This initiative highlighted the pressing need for accessible tech education in our communities.

Fast forward to 2025, and our reach has expanded significantly. We successfully implemented the Z Code program at Bessie Branham Recreation Center, where students trained on the Earsketch platform and ten students submitted original projects to the Radical Act Competition. As we grow, our mission remains clear: to equip individuals with the skills, confidence, and resources to thrive in a tech-driven world.

For Youth: Exploring Code Beyond the Screen

Our goal is to show young learners that coding is everywhere—in art, gaming, music, and beyond. Through hands-on projects, coding competitions, and real-world applications, students discover the power of code while developing problem-solving skills, creativity, and technical proficiency.

For Adults: Career Development & Tech Advancement

Z Code offers career-changing opportunities for adults looking to break into tech or enhance their technical skills. Our programs focus on:

  • Application Development

  • Cloud Computing

  • Database Management & Development

  • AI & Machine Learning Fundamentals

  • Government Research & Contract Opportunities

Through tech cohorts, coding challenges, and hands-on projects, adults can gain job-ready skills while building portfolios that make them competitive in the workforce.
